Reiki Can Benefit Animals Too!

Reiki is a complimentary therapy for animals. Treatments can be done distance or in person, allowing animals to receive Reiki in various circumstances. A Reiki session can be adjusted depending on the animals environment. Animals benefit from Reiki sessions as Reiki is gentle and painless, can never cause harm, and is guided by spiritual consciousness. Reiki and the animal knows what it needs. Reiki will adjust its energy to create an appropriate and beneficial effect.

Benefits of Reiki for Animals

The physical benefits include:

  • Reducing stress

  • Improving recovery from injury and surgery

  • Reducing inflammation

  • Decreasing symptoms or side effects from illness or injuries

  • Assisting with physical comfort in aging

The emotional benefits include:

  • Assisting with behavioral problems such as separation anxiety

  • Helping with issues resulting from abuse or mistreatment

  • Helping with animal passion fatigue

  • Supporting veterinary care and experiences

The spiritual benefits include:

  • Increasing life force vitality

  • A renewed sense of purpose

  • Assisting during Compassionate Euthanasia

  • Helping with end-of-life support

What to Expect

 

I will gather needed information about the animal from the caregiver. I will initiate Reiki and request approval from the animal. A Reiki zone is determined, which will allow the animal freedom during the session. Typically, the animal is not touched unless it gives the signal of approval such as coming near. A session will last 30-45 minutes including gathering information from the caregiver.

Pricing

  • In-person: $105

    This includes 30 minutes of total travel time. If additional travel time is needed, price will be adjusted.

  • Distant Session: $40

    This option can be done via Zoom, phone, or use of a photo.

  • Compassionate Euthanasia: Free (based on availability)

    This is end of life support for both the animal and caregiver as the animal crosses the rainbow bridge. This is free and based on availability.

Knowledge and Experience

In addition to the Reiki training listed on my Reiki page, I was attuned to the Tree of Life symbol as part of the Animal Reiki Training I & II given by the ICRT (International Center for Reiki Training).
